Michigan Agency Rep Garners ALTA NTP Designation
press release

Cindy Immonen has been awarded a National Title Professional (NTP) designation from the American Land Title Association (ALTA), the national trade association of the land title insurance industry. Immonen is the second NTP designee from Michigan and joins more than 50 other industry leaders from around the United States who have earned the professional designation.

The designation recognizes land title professionals who demonstrate the knowledge, experience and dedication essential to the safe and efficient transfer of real property.*

“Cindy’s knowledge of our industry combined with her professionalism make her the ideal National Title Professional,” said ALTA President John M. Hollenbeck NTP. ”Her dedication and enthusiasm for the land title industry make her a much-deserved recipient of a National Title Professional designation. I encourage other Michigan land title insurance professionals to follow Cindy’s lead and apply for this designation.”

Immonen has more than 25 years of industry experience and serves as state agency representative for Fidelity National Title Group in Livonia, Mich. She received the Michigan Land Title Association (MLTA) Certified Land Title Professional designation in July 2015. Immonen is a MLTA board member and has chaired the MLTA Education Committee since 2012. She also serves as a trustee on the Clarenceville School Board.

A full directory of National Title Professionals is available here.

The designation has several elements, including industry and compliance prerequisites and training requirements. To apply for the NTP designation and for more information, please visit ALTA's NTP website.
