Stewart Title® of California, Inc. announced today the appointment of Melissa Howard as sales manager for Stewart Title, San Diego division.

Howard received her real estate license in 2001 in Hawaii after assisting her father in his hotel development company. Her distinguished career has included being named Top Three Corporate Sales Executive for the Ritz Carlton Residences, where she also served as director of sales. Due to her strong relationship with First American Title Company, she served in a sales management role for three years in Hawaii before moving on to the director of sales and business development for Keller Williams Real Estate in Honolulu / Ihara team.

“As a San Diego native, Melissa fully understands the needs and intricacies of the real estate market in Southern California,” said Loretta Medrano, division president. “We welcome her back to her home state where she’ll no doubt leverage her impressive sales experience and market knowledge to enhance the reach of our San Diego office.”

Outside of the office, Howard serves as an advocate for breast cancer awareness and women’s health, volunteering for Susan G. Komen. An avid runner, she regularly contributes articles to Marathon Times and Runners World.
