PA Natural Gas Expo To Be Held July 21, 2011
by Scott Perry | 2011/07/19 |

Marcellus Shale gas is the hot energy commodity everyone’s talking about here in southwestern Pennsylvania these days, and a local media concern is hosting a one-day meet-and-greet to educate the public about this vast resource and what it means to the economic viability of our region.

Blurbs from the Bossman ::

The Second Annual Pennsylvania Gas Expo will be held on July 21, 2011, at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex on the campus of the Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  The one-day event, hosted by MDS Energy, Ltd. of Kittanning, PA and Pittsburgh-based Renda Broadcasting Corp., runs from 9AM until 4PM and will feature over 150 informational exhibits and workshops, as well as networking opportunities for suppliers and vendors involved in energy exploration and production.  A panel of representatives from some of the major players like EQT Production and Energy Corporation of America will be on hand to discuss landowner's rights and address environmental impact concerns.   The event is open to the public and admission is free.  Click here for more information if you are interested in attending.
