    08/14/2009 -- Richland County is "considering" closing on Fridays due to budget problems. Morrow county is already closed on Fridays. If this happens, it may have an effect on our turn-around times - we will only have 4 days to get a week's worth of work done. We will keep you posted.
    07/17/2009 -- Recording Standards (H.B. 525): We are seeing documents assessed the additional $20 fee if the page number is smaller than a 10pt. font, in addition to initials, "return to" stamp, or notary seal in the margins. Check your mortgages closely.
    07/17/2009 -- H.B. 525, prescribing document guidelines, is now in effect. Please be mindful that many recorders are strictly interpreting the new law. If ANYTHING is in THEIR margins, they are assessing the additional $20 filing fee. This includes: initials, notary stamps, "return to" stamps, and title company and lender order numbers.     03/20/2009 -- Richland County tax computers "crashed" yesterday; the county is unable to tell us how long they will be down; it may be a few days.
    03/13/2009 -- Amy Caudill, one of our examiners, has left to be a full-time mom. We have hired Cindy Sholtis to replace her. Cindy has been a title examiner for about 15 years and we are glad to have someone with her experience on our team.
    02/27/2009 -- Morrow County has changed to a 4-day work week. Beginning March 6, 2009 the will be closed on Fridays until further notice.
