Thank you Mr. Huguenin for posting your criticism of my company on Source of Title, as your post on Abstractor Watchdog was anonymous which makes it nearly impossible to be able to correct any false comments or address and rectify any legitimate complaints. As I now know who you are I can address each of your complaints and let the readers of this post decide who is unprofessional.

While it is true that we sent you a document retrieval request on Friday 3-26-10, and it is true that you spoke with one of my employees on Monday 3-29-10, you leave out some pretty important information. You left out the fact that you logged into our vendor website and entered the following on Sunday 3-28-10 at 10:22 AM regarding the order we sent to you: “Kiss my ass.” As a result of your entry, you were contacted by my employee on Monday to see what the problem was as well as to see if we needed to re-assign this order. You then stated that you would no longer be doing work for us. Amanda acknowledged you, there was silence on your end, so she hung up. We then inactivated you as a vendor and reassigned the order to someone else who is interested in doing our work.
To address any issues regarding fees and payments thereof, I investigated your claim and discovered the following: In January, you faxed in some invoices stating that you were not paid properly. My employee in accounting researched each one of them and faxed back explanations to each invoice that you questioned. Any underpayments were due to you sending us copies not requested, whether it was sending in a complete mortgage when we only asked for first and last page, or sending us a document when we only asked for recording information, etc. We also documented with check numbers that in fact all of your invoices had been paid.  It was not a matter of you being underpaid – it was a matter of you overcharging us.  After this was all faxed back to you, my employee called you to ensure this was all handled to your satisfaction and you replied that you were satisfied and understood everything.
Two months later you faxed back the same invoices to us, again claiming that you were underpaid. My same employee called you twice and was hung up on each time she identified herself. On the third call you didn’t hang up so she asked why you sent the same invoices back which we had already addressed and your response was “I don’t know.” She then re-faxed all of the research and explanations again to ensure that you had all the necessary information to understand. We again provided you all the evidence necessary to demonstrate that you were not underpaid or stiffed in any way.
If you have a legitimate complaint, we are more than willing to work with you to make things right. But posting twisted stories with half truths or outright lies is not the way to resolve a disagreement. We still have the file (including all the cleared checks) if you need to see it again.
