That Gottlieb character sounds like an interesting fellow.  And, the deed restrictions certainly pose an interesting real estate problem.  Removing the restrictions would seem to make sense, to allow for productive use of the property. But, they seem to be valid restrictions.

I wonder who would sue if the restrictions were violated? Or, if there is a revsion clause? I'd really like to see a copy of the deed that put those restrictions on record.

Although I did find the article interesting, Leigh, it would be nice if you provided your thoughts or comments when you post a link.  Sometimes you have some really good ones that generate good discussions and I would like to include them in our weekly update email.  I don't, because the only content of the post is a link. Just something to think about.
