Another negligent infliction of mental distress case...An elderly couple had just lost their son. They had him cremated. The funeral director sent his ashes to them. They opened the package expecting to find an urn containing their son's ashes. They could not seem to find it and began combing through the packing material looking for the the urn. There was none, and what they were digging through with their bare hands was their son's ashes rather than packing material.. Judgment for the plaintiff.
