[-] HOW DO I BECOME AN INDEPENDENT ABSTRACTOR? - Kesha Hamilton/TN (12 replies)
6/19/2009 11:03:17 AM (3459 views)

I am currently a mortgage broker, but looking to get into the field of title abstracting. Whats the best way for me to get started with no actual experience in title abstracting? I thought I would be getting started with this company called Applied Technology Resources, but after reading the posts here, I have definitely decided against it!

I have looked over some training sites like www.learntitlesearching.com and www.mbaa.org. has anyone had experience with these course sites, or are there any others that can be recommended? Is it suggested that I dive out there as an independent title searcher or should I work for a company first? I prefer to start off independently....
