I was in the record room at one of the local courthouses the other day and overheard a conversation in which a title attorney was lamenting the shortage of qualified abstractors who are willing to take on residential titles now that oil & gas work has proven to be more lucrative.

My question is, are the VMs having difficulty finding searchers in regions where natural gas drilling is most active?
