[-] Mass Land Records crappy new system - we need feedback - Leigh Attridge/MA (3 replies)

This is in the nature of a broadcast email for any and all examiners in New England who aren't a member of MITEA  (Mass Independent Title Examiners Assn).  According to the email I got this morning, the Registers of Deeds are having a meeting on November 1st & the new Mass Land Records computer system will be one of the items for discussion.  Apparently they are under the impression that every thing is just ginger peachy with the system & that we're happy & satisfied with their work.  Well, I'm not & from everyone else I've spoken to they're not either.

This is our one & probably only chance to be heard.  Please email your comments & complaints to Kelly Kopyt or Gene Brune.

Kelly.Kopyt@sec.state.ma.us

Gene Brune (President of the Registers' Assn) can be reached through the Mid South website middlesex@sec.state.ma.us.

It would also be very helpful to register (pun intended) your complaints with your local Register of Deeds as well

The new site is awful.  Clearly it was designed by people who have never done a title search & since it appears that we will be stuck with it forever, there needs to be some changes made.
