As the immediate past president of the National Association of Land Title Examiners and Abstractors (NALTEA), I wanted to be the first to offer a public congratulations to our new president, Ed Gunther.  Ed has certainly put in the time and effort on the board of directors, and also as chairman of the Planning and Events Committee, planning our successful 2011 conference and several local meet and greets over the past year.

Our board of directors also has a new member, Ms. Patricia Roberts, who now holds the seat that I kept warm for the past six years.  I wish Patricia the best of success on the board.

We had a pretty good turnout for this year's conference, the weather was mild, the accomodations were top notch, and the presentations were awsome!  Here's looking forward to 2012!

Anyway, I hope you will all join me in congratulating Ed and Patricia on their new positions.
