I get e-mails constantly from various online abstracters. 

The further problem here in Iowa is the invasion of "statewide" abstracters/title searchers  who do their searches the same way. If it cannot be found online, then it is not there.  Their product is cheap, sloppy, full of errors and omissions.  When the next sale comes up and the  title companies they are working for outside of Iowa OR the Iowa Title Guaranty progam start paying claim after claim, I suspect they will not save any money in the long run.

It is becoming harder and harder to maintain a standard of professionalism in the title industry of Iowa.  How can a company support maintaining their plant when they have to compete with India, "abstracters in pajamas" (sitting on the couch with a laptop) and others with very deep pockets giving away their product ?
