CoreLogic: Completed Foreclosures Down Almost 20% from Last Year
CoreLogic has released its National Foreclosure Report for March, showing 69,000 completed foreclosures in the month, down from 85,000 in March, 2011. CoreLogic sees signs that short sales, deed in lieu, modifications, and other remedies are gradually replacing foreclosure as preferred remedies to clear distressed assets.
