[-] Soft Pro bad blood - John Rawlings/WI (2 replies)

Several years ago, we signed up with SoftPro with the ability to store our files in the cloud.  We were told at the time that if we chose to leave them, we could acquire our files for a one-time fee of $500.  We have since left them, maintaining one computer with them so we could still access our older files.  We have decided to cut the ties and just pay to get our files back, but now we are told that it will cost thousands, and if we don't pay it, our monthly fees to maintain our one computer is going up.  Has anyone else had this issue?  They were not pleased with us when we left and made it clear that they were going to make things difficult for us.  Sounds like extortion to me.
