Hey, Dave!

Just got back from a week's vacation, so I've been out of the loop for a while.  I saw this on one of the local newscasts, and Governor "Fast Eddie" Rendell assures all citizens of the Commonwealth that although there will be some "minor inconveniences", we will still be able to buy our booze (the Commonwealth still owns and operates the Liqour Stores) and lottery tickets without interruption.

Not sure how the shutdown will affect county offices, but I'll keep you posted.  I do remember a similar "crisis" at the Federal level in the mid-nineties...there was a government shut-down back then, too, but I don't think anyone really noticed.
