I think it's about time that the abstract community banded together and formed some sort of alliance. In Florida there is too much cut throat pricing that is killing the industry. I mean there are companies out the doing current owner searches for $15- $20. This is insane. For a little mom and pop run company to charge this it hurts all of us. When they can't get the information that they need of the "internet" they call a bigger company like mine to "help" them out. When we charge our professional member price, that is still way out of their ballpark to make any money.

We need to help each other out as well. For me to call and get a price of $120 to do a current owner from one of my "brothers" is also insane. Anyway just a few ideas to discuss at the conference.
