Greetings,

I just moved to AZ from IN due to my wife's job transfer.  I was an independent abstractor in IN for almost 10 years, but left a few years back when my daughter was born. Now that she is in school, I would like to get back into the industry.

However, I have "heard" that there is not a good market for independent abstractors in AZ due to the online digitalization nature of this state.  I even called the Maricopa County Recorder and she said  something like "I don't know or recall ever see any independent abstractors... but it seems like there would be a need for that type of service."

Can anyone help, or have any ideas or suggestions?  It kind of seems like a dead end, but who knows?!
