As I checked in to this site just now, as usual, heading straight to the discussions page to see what's new, something caught the corner of my eye. Flipping back to the home page, I saw Jarrod Clabaugh's article, signing off.
Now, I know Jarrod is still alive, so I won't speak of him in past tense. But, having read his farewell, it's really every bit as sad to see him go.
I have only met Jarrod on three occasions. Two of them were at NALTEA conferences, and one was on a road trip when I went along with Jarrod and Wanda Steudel to Michigan to knock some politicians' heads together on behalf of NALTEA. On each occasion, I was in stitches nearly the whole time - because the guy is a cut up. A regular riot.
Jarrod, wherever you are going, I hope to be able to read your work. I hope you will continue to write about the title industry, and continue to put all of that useful knowledge you have gained to work. If so, we will still expect you at the NALTEA conferences.
Good luck to you, and much success.
