Received a Substitution of Trustee and Deed of Reconveyance from GMAC for recording after we closed a short sale. Same notarization on both docs but the seal had been previously copied onto the page rather than an original stamp being affixed. I am not comfortable recording these documents. My underwriter sees no problem because the "intent is clear". Have I gotten so paranoid with all the robo signing that I am nitpicking this to death? Would be interested to see what you all think. Our notary laws do not allow this--do other states?
