Liabilty for lack of disclosure - William Pattison /CA
9/20/2011 6:21:52 PM (3174 views)

The liability that local counties take for lack of disclosure is high.  I keep digital image copies and email this to them in a traceable manner.  There are multiple records showing the error and I make it clear by threatening them with liability if they do not correct the error and note the correction.  Hold their bastard, taxpayer-overpaid feet to the fire or they walk all over you.

I've asked this many times:   how do you feel about a  index change two weeks later that fixes a $2M lien on a lot  you searched and certified as correct?  Nobody likes to answer this question, save a few like Robert.  On this matter, he and I agreed in the past that insurance is your fallback.
