I'd like to encourged everyone to attend the 10th annual NALTEA conference in Columbus, Ohio October 10 thru 12.  The banner for the conference is rotating on the SOT home page.  Just go to the NALTEA site at www.naltea.org to see the signup information and the list of speakers.  It is a really good lineup this year.  The hotel is located adjacent to both the Arena DIstrict and the Short North.  Both are wonderfully places to walk, dine, and drink.

For those not familiar, NALTEA started as an idea on this discussion board 11 years ago.  Franco put together a group of 5 to 7 folks that were active on the discussion board to get the ball rolling, and the first conference was held here in Columbus at the same hotel 10 years ago.  Over the years, a fair amount has been come to fruition.  We have a certification program, have testified and worked with various state legistations.  We have made the CFPB aware of our concerns with their new rules.

It is always a swell time, and a great chance to talk in person with abstrators from different parts of the country.
