We are currently hiring for:

Full Time – Accounts Payable

This position will support Gainesville, FL

The Accounts Payable Clerk position will be responsible for performing accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.

2. Prioritize invoices according to payment terms and type of invoices.

3. Process check requests.

4. Audit and process credit card bills.

5. Match invoices to checks & file.

6. Maintain 1099 files.

7. Respond to all vendor inquiries.

8. Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies.

9. Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.

10. Assist with other projects as needed.

11. Produce monthly reports and assist in month end closing

12. Sort and distribute incoming mail

13. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Required:

• High School Diploma

• Associate Degree and/or one to three years accounts payable and general accounting experience.

• Prior experience with accounting software such as Quickbooks or Intacct

• Knowledge of accounts payable

Preferred:

• Experience with Intacct Accounting Software

• Ability to meet deadlines

• Advanced knowledge of Excel
