Never have I came across this before in all my title experience. I have seen names spelled incorrectly, but never a name completely emitted from grantor and grantee indexes.
Who's liable for this mistake? I noted this on the objection section of my write up sheet and the client wants me to remove it. There's no way I can since there isn't an open mortgage. Huge mistake on the counties part and this goes back almost 2 years ago, when purchaser acquired title.
