Here In Suffolk NY, where E Filing has been initiated. All should be wary if your state/County should choose to go this path. It has always been a standard practice of the county to have a set practice in place as to how inputting is being done.

It is becoming a big problem here in Suffolk, not sure if it is elsewhere. Simply put, the inputting of information is all over the place. A standard practice of searching can no longer be trusted nor done. First names are being put in as last names, Suffixes are being put in as last names. Corporate/ business names can be all over the place.

The chance for error is huge (especially with judgements) as you now have multiple courts all over county and state inputting different ways. This is causing an increase in claims, along with causing a huge increase into time to run names 100 different ways. Which increases the cost and time to produce a title examination

 Anybody else seeing this problem......................
