They had owned by money from 2015. Asked for a quote on a new project. I said I can not with out a deposit and payment for the old file. I said I needed approval from counsel to approve the file. They send a copy of a check for the past invoice and the deposit for the new file. They check never arrived. SO they sent a second (which is the first one I had received) check for only the deposit for the new file. I tool it to the bank to cash and asked that the bank check to see if the funds were good prior to deposit. I was told that there were some questionable things about the check. The bank did not disclose what. I was advised that if I deposited the check and if for any reason it was not a good check that the account (my account) would be closed. I do not know what is going on with them or their bank. I would suggest that if you do get a check form them that you ask your bank about it prior to trying to deposit their check. It is just a suggestions. My bank was not able to disclose more information to me than what I have mentioned. It is better to be safe than sorry.
