Good Morning,
A great number of county recorder offices here in Ohio and many more nationwide use USLANDRECORDS as their site for on line access to their records. This have been a valuable tool for us title examiners in the completion of title searches. We can work after the limited hours available at the county courthouse and on the weekends. My office uses USLANDRECORDS as a tool not as the only access to records in the county recorder's office. We physically travel to the various county courthouses on a daily basis to complete our title search products. We still do this primarily due to the disclaimer on each and every county recorder's site warning about the information contained in "their" site.
In case you are not aware of it, when using USLANDRECORDS you are not truly accessing that particular county recorder's office. You are accessing USLANDRECORDS documents that have been uploaded from that particular county recorder's office. Over the past several months the access of documents has been limited. Either the site is down completely or you can access the index but not able to image and view / print documents. This is the error message received yesterday, Sunday 08/05/2017, and again this morning when attempting to access records.
The requested document is not available at this moment, please visit later. Thank You
Most of the county recorder's office staff member's have been very helpful when this reoccurring situation happens, but not all. Hopefully whatever "glitch" that creates this issue gets resolved soon or counties will switch companies to another company who will provide a temporarily better system that will default in the future.. When that happens what will they do then?
