Vanguard Research & Title Services, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Gilbert M. Hoffman, Esq. as Chief Title Counsel.

Hoffman joins Vanguard with over three decades of Real Estate Law experience both within and outside of New York State. Following his 27 years as title counsel to a multi-national title insurance underwriter, he served as counsel for a sizable law firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. Hoffman’s experience is vast, encompassing residential, commercial, and industrial real property and title matters, including wind and nuclear power facilities, cogeneration plants, pipelines and transmission lines.

Hoffman serves as Co-Chair of the New York State Bar Association’s Real Property Law Section, Title and Transfer Committee and on its RPLS Executive Committee. He also serves as Chairperson to the Onondaga County Bar Association Real Property Section and has been instrumental in setting the Bar Association’s standards for real property title in his tenure. He is a Certified Instructor by the New York State Education Department and has served as an instructor for various continuing education courses throughout his career.
