Is there something I'm unaware of here? Does the E in ETA stand for something other than ESTIMATED?
Why is this industry increasingly more concerned with turn time than quality? That's a serious question. If someone knows the answer, please post it.
I'm a vendor manager, but also a searcher myself so I understand that schedules get screwed up. If I'm delayed in Branch Co. because an order went sideways, I'm not going to be able to make it to Lenawee County like I planned. It happens to us all.
So why was I just told by another vendor manager that I need to supply more accurate ETA's? And this happened AFTER the abstractor reported that a "simple one owner search" actually includes two parcels split and going in different directions and needs a fee upgrade?
How are you handling this turn time fanaticism? Would especially like to hear from other vendor managers, especially those who know how to search themselves.
