Wednesday afternoon I received a call from an Orlando title co. telling me that there was a closing Thursday at 3PM on the island where I live. She then tells me that their company just got bought up by the Underwriter. I told her my rate, terms and that I have done quite a bit of business with the underwriter (I'm on the approved list) and very familiar with the Lender. I tell her to email me an Order Confirmation with all the particulars on it so I can contact the buyer. Yesterday morning rolls around and no email, no call, she did not leave me their name or contact info. 1:30PM hits and I get an emailed package and the Branch Manager asking me if I called the Buyer. I now have the name of the title co., her phone number and actual name.  I call and she has the Trainer for the Underwriter right there. I told her that if you use the scheduling system, you don't need to send an order form the underwriter does that when they assign in scheduling. Because she didn't set it up that way I told her I still need an Order Confirmation so I can call the Borrower. All she did was email me a phone number.  So after the closing I sent her a confirmation that it was closed, the package dropped, and wrote out an outline of what to put on an Order Confirmation Sheet. I explained that she almost lost her notary because there was no confirmation in writing saying anything was occuring. I had planned an alternate afternoon yesterday starting at 2PM, to run south to Vero. Why? Because I had to train someone and if I don't hear from you I think it's cancelled. I can't chase someone to do their job, or for that matter in this slow down, teach them how.  I honestly wonder what the trainer was thinking while this was occurring.
