I'm not talking just a little isolated but really really remote and hard to get to places. The kind of place where you can't get cell phone service and sometimes won't even find a gas station. We're lucky enough to work some of the most underpopulated counties in Texas including seventeen that are listed in America's 100 Loneliest Counties
In my opinion these are the most interesting counties in America. I've seen horses tied to courthouse signs as a cowboy in spurs, chaps removed his hat to enter the courthouse, and I've seen Roadrunner roosting on the roof as I waited for the courthouse doors to open. I've almost run out of gas when I forgot the nearest gas station is 30 miles away in another county. There are counties out there so remote the population may almost double when Landmen fill the courthouse chasing the next big mineral find.
I'm looking forward to hearing your experiences with remote counties in your area. What is the most remote county you or your abstractors visit?
