Looking for your opinions on this. I was searching for a partial release of the borrowers property, lest say its lot 10, from the deed of trust by the builder. A very large and active builder, so there were hundred and hundreds of partial releases from this one deed of trust. There was no release for lot 10. Midway through the index there was a full release of the deed of trust, but no description of the property. Then they continued to record hundreds of partial releases of other lots from this same deed of trust. When I have ran into this in the past I was told that they likely meant for the full release to be another partial release, and to treat it as such. But I had a different client read me the riot act when I reported a deed of trust because the release did not specifically state lot 10 was released.
If it was a full release, why did they continue to record partial releases?
