I couldn't agree with you more!  Especially in NY!!!!  It's not even possilble to get accurate information from them (from where they are opperating out of).  To be experienced searchers/abstractors in New York State? You have to apprentice (boots on the ground)  first for at least 2 years with minimal pay!  I just had a person from Pakistan solicitate me with an elevator 'speech' ...stating that he considered himself an 'expert' title searcher!....from Pakistan! (and so on and so forth) all this and his fee for a current owner?  Fifteen dollars!  You know what?  (Without naming the big title operations that I KNOW first hand are using internet jockies such as these people) ....Let me ask you a question...Do you actually think that you're getting a quality product and will (not) suffer the consequences for getting property reports done at $5.00 a piece in India??  You will!....trust me.....you will!!  For all the times, I've received random questions from a myriad of operations outside of the US asking me how to do this, how to do that..what does 'this' mean? ...(all of which I have answered with: "Your're the expert, figure it out yourself") You WILL..consequences in a court of law....Not only are we getting robbed over here,but  you are as well! (blindly)!....you get what you pay for....and I say that, with the utmost sincerity.. Don't even make me get into all the companies and attorneys that ended up finding 'white-washed' checks that were found by the FBI being used as a tool in attempted fraud,originating from these people! GOOD HEAVENS!  Just don't do it! - Thank you.
