We all belong to an industry that produces a quality product that ultimately protects the consumer.  It's time to raise the bar on our profession but it will be difficult to move forward if we are divided.  The modern Abstractor's struggles are real but our separate voices aren't loud enough to elicit change.  We should be sharing complaints and solutions; but mostly solutions!  There are some very smart people among us who I know really care about the legacy of our profession. I would love to have a conversation with you.  I'm on the Board of Directors at NALTEA and we'd like to know; what could the association offer you?  If you had a chance to change something about the current culture of title abstracting, what would it be?  NALTEA wants to build a network of professionals across the country who can interact, share ideas, educate and yes; even commiserate on occasion.   Associations can do great things...change minds, attitudes and worlds. Great associations have engaged members who are active in steering their own futures.
