I conducted closings for this Company many years ago and had no problems with being paid. Over the years their payments have been taking a long time. If a closing is conducted between the 1st and 10th of the month, your payment is processed the following month on the Friday following the 10th and then an additional 10 days is to be applied and then an additional 2 - 3 business days are applied for the ACH to be deposited into your account. (i.e., closing 7-10; payment processed 8-20; payment to be received on or about 8-26).  That is a total proximity of 45 days from the date you conduct the closing until payment is received. Is it just me, or does that seem unfair to the notary to have to wait approx. 45 days for a payment?
