I agree Jay.
Starting out, I worked under a sole attorney, loved it as an intern. Then I broke out and worked for a few "large" firms.
And you know what? I hated it. Second time around it was more in the title search arena(the first was more on the Vendor side of things), but I learned something about myself for sure:
A. I hate working behind a desk in a cube
B. I hate just being a face in the crowd, or even a cubicle in a crowd
C. I love being in the courthouse. I get a kick out of seeing everything and everyone and interacting with people.
My job is TOTALLY meaningful and I love almost every second. Working for huge firms is not for everyone, and even then it depends really on the firm and what they are all about.
By the way Jay, are we related? (Laugh)
