Wow, now you're posting on SOT. Received an email from your "company" yesterday. $5 current owner searches? I don't even have any words for these overseas companies anymore, $7 two owner searches? So this is where 75% of my work in going. I've been in this business since 1999 and have survived the '08 crash, lived through the foreclosure boom... and now we as abstractors have to live with this. No wonder why every search we get now is in family for 5 generations, multiple tracts or Hispanic/Common names in Dade County. The crazy thing is; clients still want to pay "current owner" prices for these orders.

We've opened up another business as private investigators, something I did prior to getting into the abstractor game. Hoping that picks up because Lord knows in 10 more years this is all there will be. OK, that was my rant for the day.
