The google docs link thing is an oldie but a goodie. It will ask for your password in order to upload and -- thinking it is legit -- you provide it. Then nothing happens. Except that your password for your gmail account is now in the hands of others.

When in doubt, DELETE IT! If it's important, someone will contact you again eventually.
