The gal who does Suffolk county NY for me said that about 2 weeks ago some "suits" showed up at the county to brief all the abstractors on this new sales tax.

I have a ton of questions myself, Donna is speaking to her accountant about this to get all the information.

Someone told me that the State of NJ tried to implement this some years back and that it got thrown out.

The counties and States are apparently having to come up with new sources of income, you would think with the property taxes people pay in NJ and NY, which I understand are some of the highest in the country, the state tax and sales tax, it would be enough to support everything.

Whoops, I forgot about all the crooks that hold government positions in NJ and NY, guess they don't have enough there to steal now!
