Abstractors in Arizona - Will Duncan/NC
9/21/2015 9:55:32 AM (1539 views)

Hello.

I am just curious: to Title Searchers/Abstractors in Phoenix and the surrounding areas, I have a few questions regarding what it is like working in Arizona.

  • What are the counties like? Are they online-search capable? For on-site searching, are the courthouses easy to navigate?
  • What is searching like? I know real estate law is different per state. I was told when you get into the rural counties things get complicated because there are ranches, thousands of acres big, with many inner-family transfers dating back generations. How do you get around this?
  • How is volume?

I ask because a topic arose and I am possibly interested in investigating relocating (due to personal reasons) to Arizona. Do not get me wrong: North Carolina has been huge in terms of my company success and business wise, it is great. However, I am from California and a majority of my family are back on the west coast(California too expensive though). This is just one of a few reasons.

I know Abstractors are the quiet sort who are sketchy about discussing things with potential-competition but hopefully someone is out there who can give me some answers, or maybe they know of a firm who is hiring or someone willing to take on a intern who would be more than happy to pick up lunch and/or dry cleaning.

Sincerely,

Will
