I do Patent to Present searches.  My searches average 200 years and include all minerals, easements etc. and 40-60 years on Mortgages.  I can not even imagine the cost of thousands of pages of documents.  Welcome to the modern world.  There are scanner apps for your phone that allow you to "scan" the document by taking a photo with your camera.  The app then allows you to crop the photo and clean it up before saving it as a PDF.  NO MORE COPY FEES!. 

It even works for taking pics on the computers at the CH.  Just rotate the image sideways and take your pic.  It can take a minute to learn how to get the best results, but I seldom pay for copies.

Most of these apps come with their own cloud coverage and will export to your cloud of choice such as googledrive, box, or onedrive.

CamScanner is my favorite, but turboscanner is another good app.  Office Lens for Microsoft is also getting pretty good. Best $5.00 you will ever spend for work.
