We have been working with Blue Streak Docs for years and have always been paid. I am not sure how quickly they pay, but they have always paid for our services and the copies they requested in full. They have always been very particular when it comes to paying only for the copies as requested on their form. I had to argue that in Virginia judgments and some financing statements are considered liens on the property and the request said it wanted copies of all liens to get them to agree to pay for copies of those if they were sent with the completed search.

Their bookkeeper (Eve Peets) retired last year and that may be part of the current issue. She frequently sent emails to vendors if she had any issues with the number or type of copies sent with a search to clear up the matter before she processed the payment.

I need to make a correction - Eve Peets is not the one who retired. In my haste I typed the incorrect name. It was Cookie Leonard who retired. Eve is still with the company.
