Several Ohio counties have closed or limited their operations. The Ohio Land Title Association has a nice list of important information: https://www.olta.org/general/custom.asp?page=COVID-19
Not updated on OLTA's list yet, I heard that Crawford County has closed to the general public, although they are currently allowing title personnel in to do their work. And Marion county is closing to the public effective tomorrow.
If you have any more closures or changes in operations that you can share, please post them.
Let's hope this doesn't last long. With low interest rates, there are a lot of loans in the pipeline. I'm not sure how they are going to get to closing if closures keep getting worse. This is going to have quite an impact on all of us in the industry. I wish all of you the best - above all else, stay healthy.
Best,
Robert A. Franco
