RedVision, a national provider of innovative real property research solutions, continued its expansive growth by promoting Craig Muldoon to vice president of market development. The company also hired Pete Cougan as its director of project management. The strategic changes will further the company's national expansion strategy and help it strengthen its national managed services organization.
“As our customers continue to consolidate in this changing market landscape, it is increasingly important for us to cover more and more geographic territory to help streamline their workflow and standardize their processes,” said Michael Carus, RedVision's chief-operations-officer. “Craig will play a critical role as he applies his market knowledge to help grow our national footprint. Pete will facilitate our growth by ensuring that future M&A activity is properly managed and implemented. He is a tremendous project management expert resource and supports our business model of national expansion through growth and acquisition.”
Muldoon, who changed roles to vice president market development from his position as the director of title services solutions, will further apply his market knowledge to accumulate data from additional geographic markets in an effort to continue to grow RedVision. Muldoon is a co-founder of RedVision. In 2001, while president and chief-executive of Advanced Title, Muldoon set out to find a more cost effective and efficient way to perform a title search. Muldoon and RedVision's chief-technology-officer launched an effort to create an electronically posted title plant and unified search application. This culminated in the incorporation of RedVision in August, 2001, and in 2002, Muldoon transitioned into a full-time role with the company. In his new position, Muldoon will help RedVision meet the customer-driven goal to attain coverage in as many states as possible.
Cougan, a 25-year veteran of the information technology project management field, ensures project management and implementation for the company. Prior to joining RedVision, Cougan was an independent contractor, managing software development and infrastructure deployment projects for large financial institutions such as Credit Suisse, Citigroup, JPMorgan Chase and The Vanguard Group. Before his contracting work, he was a project manager for OMR Systems and Microbank Software. Cougan started his career in banking operations with Manufacturers Hanover Trust. A member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), the world's leading membership association for the project management profession, and a certified Project Management Professional, Cougan earned a bachelor's degree in business from Pace University.
