As of January 1, 2009, Farmers National Title Insurance Company rebranded itself as Agents National Title Insurance Company. Because Farmers National Title Insurance Company was initially founded to address the needs of independent title insurance agents who only operated in Missouri, this name was sufficient.
However, now that the company is expanding into additional states to serve the needs of independent agents nationwide, the company’s officials believe it is time to rebrand the company to reflect its new mission of agent service. Agents National Title Insurance believes in “Agents Only, Agents First.” The company believes that there is no better way to put agents first than to make them first in its name.
While many underwriters say they support agents, Agents National Title believes it is the only company that is willing to show that support by naming the company after those they support most.
“Farmers National Title is a strong brand but does not represent what we stand for as a company,” the company stated in a press release. “As we expand into additional markets, there will be no question as to where we stand in our business operations. Agents National Title will continue to provide the highest level of support to title insurance agents and consumers.”
Agents National Exchange, a 1031 exchange company will also begin operations. Agents National Title Insurance is currently licensed in Missouri and Indiana, with conditional approval in Arkansas and Mississippi, with applications pending in other states.
