I just did a refinance closing about a week ago and was shocked when the borrowers told me that  when the search was done for this loan that's when they found out the mortgage and deed was never recorded (Truclose handled the transaction)and the property was showing the open mortgage of the seller.  They said it was a nightmare but it got straightened out.  I had done closings for Jason in the past and it appeared to be a great company.  Sorry to hear what happened.
