We received the invoice from Smitty yesterday and it is being paid - we did not have his invoice in our system. We have asked all of our vendors to submit monthly statements and if any invoices are outstanding. In many instances, we are not even aware of an invoice for a vendor is outstanding. We are re-developing our system to allow us to capture the vendor invoice at the time the search is delivered back to us - until this is in place (several months) we have to rely on our vendors to submit statements and we will pay them in a timely fashion. Any abstractor that has contacted us about an outstanding invoice has been dealt with immediately and the issue resolved.
We understand everyone's concerns in the current market conditions, and we are doing everything we can to streamline the process.
