I am always uneasy with the loose appellation of "partner". Partners can certainly sue each other for violations of the partnership agreement or possibly breach of some position of trust. In Connecticut Partners are personally liable to third parties to the extent that the partnership assets are insufficient to pay the claim provided that the individual partners are also named individually in the suit as well as the partnership.
