Hello all, I am the manager here at Atapol, Inc. & have been for almost 8 years now. I just wanted to take a few munites to respond to some of the issues referenced in the above postings. I am thankful to Source of Title for providing a space for Searchers & Clients to discuss this industry & each other. I think it's a very valuable site and, like most of you, use it quite often.
George, the reason we are inquiring about information from searchers right now is because we are a title company trying to expand our coverage area to better serve our existing clients & in hopes of acquiring new ones. In order to do this, we must have a searcher's information (coverage area, pricing, turn around time, w-9, etc.) We are not requesting your information for any other reason, none of which i could even think, and, yes, if you'd like to know about our company, please feel free to ask. However, i must tell you that any information you request about our bank accounts (???? why you'd want that i dont know) will probably be denied....that's a little private, don't you think? :)
As for the person who didn't receive prompt payment, I am truly sorry. Unfortunately, I'm not the owner and do not have the authority to cut the checks....but I can assure you, if you place a call to me or any of my employees, we will do our absolute best to get you a check as soon as possible!
In this ever changing industry, we are simply doing our very best to continue to change & adapt along with it. While we are all only human & all make mistakes, sometimes a simple bit of honesty & understanding can go quite a long way....so, with that....if you have questions, please contact me directly, that's my job! I'm in this for my abstractors & my clients....I deal with both ends of it, so I can sympathize with your concerns & questions & will make every effort to help you in any way possible.
Lastly, for anyone who has received a vendor packet from us & is not happy with the terms of our payment or anything else, simply feel free to decline it....we would never force anyone to do work for us....if you're not happy, then we aren't happy...and if we aren't happy, then neither are our clients......
