That's a BIG reason I don't do work for VMs.  They don't want to pay enough to earn a decent living, yet they always expect same-day turnaround.  Maybe if I was one of those "courthouse campers" with a dedicated fax line and my own personal taxpayer-funded computer terminal right in the Recorder's Office, I could compete.
