Well, while bankruptcy hasn't been and still may not be filed, folks who have bounced checks should still try to collect.  Please, if you have a bounced check in hand, please contact your state insurance regulator.  They need evidence to help resolve these problems.

It's a good opportunity for your to start a dialogue and be a part of the solution.  You can help them understand your role and how there may be a better way to handle payment for your services rendered.
